If my understanding is wrong, please correct me in the reply. I'm Mosken, I do apologize for the inconvenience that you're experiencing right now, let me help you sort things out.Īccording to your description, I knew that your mouse is often stuck in some interfaces, including some system interfaces and third-party software interfaces, you can only make it work properly through the Win key and the mouse, but it will take a long time. Thanks for your post in Microsoft Community. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated
#Windows script control mouse how to
This might be caused by some obscure setting somewhere, but finding information is nigh impossible as any attempt to search only shows how to make windows lock the mouse, rather than how to actually stop them doing this constantly. Below are some examples:ĭark Byte's CE (third party, not packaged with Windows, but same problem somehow) This happens with many of Windows' own settings windows, but it also happens with a select few third party programs which do not have this behaviour for anyone else. This also does other things, for example I have a script to prevent my mouse double-clicking (due to a hardware fault) but this is functionally disabled on these windows as it completely disrupts control of the mouse, which makes them a lot more difficult to control. The only way to stop this is to use the Windows key then click onto another window, but this is extremely slow and cumbersome as this has to be done every time after clicking on one of these windows (and I do a lot, as I use them for a lot of things). I have for a long while now had an issue where using certain 'system' windows will lock the focus of the mouse and keyboard onto it.
